Usually overdue, my yearly reviews often start with: "Time has gotten away from me again..." This time there are no excuses: I just didn't do the reviews. For 6 years!! The reason has been that there have been quite difficult years that I didn't feel needed to be reviewed. I rather just let them roll over and move on. It was a 5 year run of natural disasters and personal difficulties.

2017 is well and truly on it's way and I better review 2016 so I have it all done and dusted.

First of all I wish you all a happy, healthy, successful and adventurous 2017! And of course lots of quality time with your horses and pets as this is what binds us all together.

A little over 14 years ago I bought my first Arabian horse in Australia. A five year old chestnut gelding with a blaze and 2 white hind socks, just like my childhood horse in Holland. 

This first Arabian horse was Charlie, a "wide-eyed little kid", which he remained all his life and still is. His official registered studbook name is Khal'el, which is Supermans Krypton name and thinking of Charlie as Superman makes many people who know him smile.

Thinking about the year nothing much seemed to have happened - in my little part of the world. But when I talked about the latest Kerewong updates with someone I last spoke in the beginning of the year, I realised that in fact a lot happened. 

The year started with a New Year's Beach Ride and the creation and launch of the new website.
