Guest Facilities At Kerewong Farmstay
The rider accommodation at Kerewong is purpose-built for small groups of horse tour riders and offers a modern and comfortable place to stay for your horseriding holidays on the NSW North Coast of Australia.
There is flexibility of accommodation for up to a maximum of 6-7 people (but only 4 riders per group) depending on configuration needs. Non-riders are welcome, by arrangement. All guests share the common areas of the Lodge and Kerewong property.
Sit out on the large deck overlooking the swimming pool and horse paddocks virtually all year round, watching the many different Australian birds with the visiting parrots a highlight for all international guests.
In the cooler winter months the wood burning fire in the evenings adds Australian country lifestyle charm.
Riders enjoy meals together in the large lounge & dining area of The Lodge or alfresco on the veranda during the all inclusive horse riding tours or horse trekking packages.
Kerewong Lodge - Guest Wing Area & Facilities
The Lodge is a guest wing area of the main farm house, with its own comfortable and modern guest facilities including:

- This outdoor area is an extension of the guest lounge.
- Provides a wonderful viewing platform over the pool, farm property, garden and forest and also excellent wildlife watching opportunities (wallabies and bird watching).
- Used for alfresco dining and BBQ's.
Meals
All inclusive horse riding holidays are well catered for by your host. There is a focus on healthy home-style cooking and fresh ingredients with well balanced menus for your stay and when on day tours and treks. Guests with special dietary requirements (eg. food allergies, vegetarian, gluten-free diet) should indicate their needs when booking.
- Breakfast: Buffet style continental breakfast with toast, condiments, cereals, yoghurt and fresh fruit. Cooked eggs & bacon, on some mornings on request.
- Lunch: Light salad lunches and picnics brought by support vehicle or saddle bag sandwiches
- Dinner: 2 course dinners are served at the dining table in the communal area and are home cooked International and Australian dishes
- Example meals; Beef Stew, Pasta, Chicken, Fish, Roast Dinner or Barbeques
Drinks
Juice, soft drinks, filtered rain (tank) water, tea, coffee and hot chocolate are freely available on a self-service basis. Wine is served with dinner. Beer and additional wine can be purchased at a local bottle shop on arrival (during pick-up transfer), the winery ride destination or BYO (Bring Your Own).
Rural Australian Country Lifestyle
Communications: Due to Kerewong's location in the rural Australian countryside there is no mobile phone or television reception on the farm. Guests can use the main phone for emergency calls and enjoy free WiFi Internet connectivity to stay in touch with the world.
Supplies: The Kerewong accommodation is well supplied with guest provisions; food, drinks and other basics. Guests need to bring own toiletries and personal items.
